I'm not getting any twitter updates in Socialthing! as of yesterday. I can still post to my twitter account just fine, but I can't see any updates at all.
I've tried removing my account and adding it back again, but it doesn't seem to matter.
SocialThing is my new favorite web app. I have used Liquid App to create an SBB menu item on my mac for it and now can update/read all of my social networks (save a few that will hopefully get added soon) from "home" and not have to bounce all over the interweb logging in and out etc. You rule SocialThing! *Felt bad after my reporting of an issue I'm having, so I had to send some praise too.
I am having an issue that is apparently sporadic where Facebook will report "Facebook:failed" when I try to post. I am only able to correct this issue by removing, re-adding and reauthenticating.
socialthing! needs a messenger-type application where I can interact with all my feeds (send and receive). The website is nice, but it works best as a repository that I check every once in a while.
I keep re-authenticating my twitter account and after about 5-10 minutes it needs to be re-authenticated again. Just started happening over the weekend.
Really love socialthing app for desktop browser and the iPhone app, but am not liking that 90% of the time, the most recent updates I can get are 4-8 hrs old...sometimes older. Why is that? I have my friendfeed sorted by time, so it's not user error. Pumping a status update to twitter and facebook seems to work quickly, but I can clearly see my friend's status updates not showing up in my friendfeed. Not sure what to make of it, but it's annoying trying to read what's going on and am always a half a day behind it appears. I seem to get the same complaint from either the desktop browser app in FF3 or through the iPhone app. As far as frequency, it's not just at night. it's all day long, weekdays or weekends.
In summary, the posting experience is snappy and instant, but it's the reading experience that keeps my too far behind the times when it's like 4-8hr delayed.
Avatars from brightkite are not showing up. The link to the image appears to start with http://brightkite.comhttp://s3.amazonaws.com/bk_store/... which obviously isn't going to work.
Pownce isn't working since a couple of days ago (no entries from Pownce contacts in my Friendstream). I tried deleting my account and adding it back and it didn't work... Please fix it ASAP. Thanks in advance.
